Uncover Our Top 5 Favourite Natural Ingredients For Moisturing Your Skin

Shelves of natural soap and soap products

Our skin absorbs most of what we put on it, whether it’s face creams, body lotions, or skin oils. And we’ve all seen the side effects of products not working well with our skin. Hello, rashes, irritation, and dryness. That’s why we’re fans of using the highest-quality and most natural ingredients possible in the products we use and the products we handcraft.

Organic Hemp Seed Oil

From local supplier Blue Sky Hemp Ventures, hemp seed oil is grown and processed locally from the Cannabis sativa plant. Hemp Seed Oil is produced by cold pressing the plant's seeds, not the flower and leaves. Therefore, Hemp Seed Oil typically contains no THC or CBD (cannabidiol) at all but still possesses various health benefits. Hemp seed oil is a great skin moisturizer because it is easily absorbed by the skin and helps prevent moisture loss. It is the perfect moisturizer for most skin types.

You can find Organic Hemp Seed oil can be found in all of our bar soaps, and there are plans to incorporate it into more Uncle Mike’s products soon.

                Organic Coconut Oil

Organic coconut oil is used in almost all of our products. Organic coconut oil is great because it contributes to soaps' thick foamy lather and hardening bar soap. Coconut oil is a great cleanser and a great moisturizer, and an excellent substitute for palm oil.
