There are many soap options out there but the process and the ingredients with which they are made are quite different and can be somewhat confusing. Our product is naturally cleansing and moisturizing, making it a better alternative to most 'hand soap' options on the market. Let me explain why.
Most of the liquid and foaming soaps you find in the stores are not soap at all. They are made with synthetic foaming agents, harsh chemical fragrances, and carcinogenic anti-bacterials. They are developed to strip dirt from the skin but they also strip your skin of moisture.
"Naturally derived soap" is not technically soap either, but is a naturally derived surfactant with added foaming agents. These surfactants (meant to lower surface tension) may have started as a natural oil but are put through a synthetic process to extract the surfactant properties. The extraction process is not natural and strips away the benefits of the original ingredient.
Uncle Mikes All Natural Foaming Hand Soap is made with cold-pressed vegtable oils which have retained their natural moisturizing properties. Our soap breaks surface tension to cleanse hands without stripping away the moisture. Essential oils offer anti-bacterial and anit-fungal properties as well as an enjoyable scent without the added chemicals.
